TAGUSPARK PORTUGAL EXHIBITION
After the successful kick-off of the pop-up exhibition in Cascais, HON was invited by the Museum of Urban Art (MAU) in Oeiras (Portugal) to continue the stand-alone exhibition about tokenised digital art and the blockchain. A pop-up museum exhibition within a museum.
The Museum of Urban Art is an invitation to introspection and reflection on the society and the world we live in. Embedded in the Largest Science and Technology Park in Portugal, Taguspark is home to some of the largest national and international companies in Portugal.
The MAU reflects the disruptive, bold, and urban spirit of Taguspark, and embodies the values that the Knowledge City wishes to convey to the community. Sharpen the senses and allow oneself to be surprised by the park’s gardens and garages, and discover a series of daring, challenging and creative works by various internationally acclaimed Portuguese artists, including Bordalo II, Clo Bourgard and Osir.
This project fitted seamlessly into the MAU. The exhibition aligned with the museum's mission to blend art, science, and technology, providing a contemporary exploration of digital art forms. The transformative capabilities of blockchain and NFTs in the digital landscape were thoroughly examined and demonstrated, enriching the Museum of Urban Art's offerings and aligning with the broader goals of the Science and Technology Park of being the primary address for the future of technology.
